As a new independent author you will come across an army of opportunists seeking to take advantage of your lack of familiarity with the field.
Most often they will refer to themselves as ‘Indie Publishers’, and promise to be the be-all and end-all answer to your concerns. The idea is that you hand your manuscript over to them and they will produce your book and bring it to the world.
But although it might sound nice to be able to simply hand this daunting and complex task over to someone else, you might find that brief initial respite to ultimately leave you in a precarious position. You may find yourself shackled to a recurring fee for very little in return, have no control over your book, still have to do all the work of promotion yourself, and do so while losing a further cut of the revenue for your troubles.

These Publishers will promise to connect your book to “international distributors”, as if to imply they hold some level of insider connections within the industry. But these elusive contacts are just Amazon and other online marketplaces, which you can absolutely connect to yourself. Those services purposefully make themselves as easy to access as they can, something these publishers do not want you to know. They want you to believe they alone hold the key, and that is just not the truth.
For a newcomer, even navigating these platforms yourself can be daunting.
Well I can help you with that.
As an author myself, I understand what your works feel like to you. I have had several of these opportunists try to get reigns around my own work. I know just how little regard most have for the books they produce. Their end goal is to gain the passive subscription or the passive income of their cut on your profits. So their strategy is therefore to get as many books through as quickly and effortlessly as possible in order to achieve that end goal.
But you may not realise just how easy it is to do it yourself and maintain full ownership and control.
I want no control over your books; I have more than enough of my own to manage.
I can create for you a cover compliant to your budget, and format your manuscript for both ebook and paperback. I can then assist you directly in getting your book onto the online stores yourself, so from there you have full control over what is rightfully yours.
My broad range of skills across Graphic, Video/Motion & basic Web Design can also be utilised in the production of promotional material and a website if you need.

Generally pricing will start from a baseline of the following:
Manuscript formatted for Ebook with a generic genre-focused cover.
$300
Additional for potential Stock Image Expenses
Add a Paperback
+$100
Paperback formatting has a 100k word limit. Add +$50 per extra 50k words
Publishing Consultancy
+$100
The above is what most tend to go for, though often clients wish for something a little more unique and specialised. Prices will increase depending upon the complexity of the cover; the conceptualisation, techniques required, time, etc. The details of which will need to be discussed before a quote can be provided.
If you have multiple books in a series, then grouping them for a reduced payment is also an option.
MARKETING
I offer no marketing services… but neither do these other services who claim they do.
No matter the path you take, the obligation to promote your work will ultimately rest with you. It will forever be the hardest part of this pursuit. I myself have not cracked the equation so will never claim to you that I have any answers here.
At least with my help you will receive the full returns for the efforts you make.
EDITING & REPORTS
I am able to perform basic editing services and/or provide a read-report on the work if required.
Proper ‘Editing’ however is very intensive, to the level I find many authors to be unaware of. It requires a full capture of the work and its structure and progression and tone of voice. We can discuss how I might be able to help you there, but my skills will likely not compare to those more directly focused to that pursuit. These specialists however are expensive. I can offer a cheap option, but of course the quality will likely not compare.
