CREATIVITY TO ME IS DEFINED BY NEITHER MEDIA, GENRE, NOR SPECIALITY.
YOU TAKE A HOTDOG, YOU FEEL IT MIGHT WORK BETTER WITH MUSTARD, SO YOU COMBINE THE TWO TO ADVANCE THE SUM BEYOND THE WORTH OF THE INDIVIDUAL PARTS.
YOU'RE A CREATIVE.
There is no split between mediums,
and the stories I create are as visual to me as they are audible.
We experience life through a culmination of 5 senses, yet too often creatives restrict themselves to a single craft.
My skills and experience in creativity have been founded and fostered through the development of my personal work, which itself was never created within any defined convention.
As for the intent of my personal style, the best referral would be that quote from Ira Glass...
"Creativity just starts with having good taste."
I like cool stuff, and I want to write it, I want to visualise it, and produce it, and talk it and be involved.
I love meeting and working with cool people who want to try something new, the more abstract from my own path, the better, as it all winds up being returned to the pot in the end to further stew my 'style'.
Unfortunately I am rarely cool enough myself to actually fit in with any 'cool crowd', but I don't mind watching from the side.
I can rightly say though I that I meet and work with a wide array of interesting & wonderful people, and greatly enjoy assisting them in the development of a wide range of projects & initiatives...
helping them to tell their own stories.
And when I find an opportunity to try something new, I throw myself in deep.
Yes I often fail, but sometimes just by a little, and each time I do, I assess, analyse, re-strategise and return from that next level up.
